Project Overview
The Shaw Park Project is a three-year fundraising campaign (2023-25) to transform Shaw Park, located in the northwest corner of Beaver, PA, into a catalyst for community connection and engagement with updated 21st-century facilities. The park's design includes a BRAND NEW public pool, replacing the void left when the beloved Beaver Pool permanently closed in 2019.
The Shaw Park Project is a joint effort between the Beaver Borough, the Beaver County Foundation, and a team of community volunteers and supporters.
The 3-year (2023-25) $5.85MM campaign for the park is underway. It will obtain the funding needed through a multi-prong strategy: Corporate Sponsorships, Private Giving, and Public Grants, as well as Borough completion of specific park features.
Construction will begin after the 3-year (2023-25) fundraising campaign concludes.
